  “First Steps for Everyone” is a great Bible Study series based upon the best-selling book by John S. Robertshaw of the same name. The course is run over 17 separate sessions, usually on Monday night and covering the following topics: 

  Creation	Holy Spirit
  The Fall	Talking with God
  Becoming a Christian	Servant of God
  A Child of God	Know the Enemy
  I Forgive You	Victory in Jesus
  The Bible	The Church
  Water Baptism	The Future
  Bread & Wine	Fishers of Men
  Jesus is Alive

   

  The course is much more than the title suggests; this is one of our best loved teaching sessions which never disappoints and always includes laughter, fellowship, topical news, prayer and worship. It’s just one of those enjoyable church gatherings which people can jump in and out without losing the plot – each session is self-contained.
  
  
  “First Steps for Everyone” is run throughout the Spring months starting 6.45pm each Monday night with free tea/coffee and biscuits followed by 2 hours of uplifting interchange. Pastor Sean & his wife Angela lead the course helped by Brian & Del whenever support is needed. The sessions are open to everyone, we especially welcome visitors who may be with us in Felixstowe for holiday, business or just passing through.

• Who Should Attend?

  

  “First Steps for Everyone” was originally developed as a follow-on for new Christians having just completed the ever popular ALPHA course. This is still appropriate but the course has become much, much more and many mature church members have enjoyed the course format as a refresher or to revisit topics of interest in our discussion group.
  In summary, this course will be appreciated by the following groups:

  • New Believers
  • Mature Christians wishing to refresh basic knowledge

  • Visitors looking for fellowship in a Christian environment

  
  The course is completely free of charge; complimentary “First Steps” books are provided for guests to keep and Bibles in NIV translation are available as necessary. Absolutely no pressure to read scripture out loud or participate in discussions; this is a very comfortable and relaxed environment to learn more of God’s Word.
