Welcome to this week's Friday Mail, with information about our services, events and ministries.
Encouragement

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:7

Dear Lord,
It's with a heart full of joy and praise for all You have done, that I can say You are my strength and my shield. I trust in You alone. May Your strength carry me through anything I may face; help my heart to trust You, even when I cannot see the road ahead.
  Amen.

This Sunday, 27th April, Sarah Payne will be speaking.

Testimony Sunday

The Bible tells us to be 'ready to answer everyone who asks you to explain about the hope you have' in 1 Peter 3.15. We know that our amazing God has been good to so many of us at River of Life, so we thought we'd have a testimony morning next Sunday, 4th May. If you'd like to share about the Lord's kindness or your story of hope, please speak to Pastor Rob or Sarah before the 4th.

You are welcome to come to any of our prayer meetings. Let's stand with  other believers as we commit our needs to the Lord.

Planning your Visit

First Visit?

web 800x400 (8) Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to get parked and find a seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at:

River of Life Christian Life Centre
2 Carr Road, Felixstowe, IP11 2FS

You can see a map on our Contact us page

There is plenty of parking available on the site.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 45 mins of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible. After the notices there will be a spiritual message from one of the leaders at the Church with a chance to respond at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are normally served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the children at church?

We have a fantastic programme for children at the Church for ages 0 thru 17. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. An announcement is made when it's time for children to join their programmes. Children need to be registered.

For more information about programmes and age groups, please refer to the relevant pages under the main menu heading "Ministries".

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
